When To Go

High season in Turks and Caicos runs roughly from January through March, with the usual extra-high rates during the Christmas and New Year\'s holiday period. Several hotels on Provo offer shoulder-season rates in April and May.

What To See

Cockburn Harbour - The best natural harbor in the Caicos chain hosts the South Caicos Regatta, held each year in May.
Wades Green - Visitors can view well-preserved ruins of the greathouse, overseer\'s house, and surrounding walls of one of the most successful plantations of the Loyalist era.
Conch Bar Caves - These limestone caves have eerie underground lakes and milky-white stalactites and stalagmites.
