WHY NEW YORK

Known as the city that never sleeps, New York is bursting with energy from morning till night. Offering everything from great monuments and museums to chic hotels, shops and lively restaurants, New York is a very popular city-break destination - particularly during the Christmas present buying season.

QUICK TIPS
•  FLYING TIME: Approximate flying time from Los Angeles: 5 hours*
•  LENGTH OF STAY: Recommended: 4 or more days
•  WHEN TO GO: Best time: Spring and autumn
*Add additional time if leaving from other U.S. cities including connecting time between flights.

What To See

Must-sees (although you probably feel like you have seen them before) include the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, Central Park and Times Square. The Museum of Modern Art has to be one of the world\'s best museums, and the Guggenheim Museum and American Museum of Modern History aren\'t far behind.

BROOKLYN
Be sure to take a walk over the Brooklyn Bridge, crossing from Carroll Gardens to Manhattan. Make a pit stop at the Brooklyn Heights Promenade and catch a film at the artsy Brooklyn Academy of Music. On the first Saturday of the month head for The Brooklyn Museum of Art
