BORGO DI CASTELVECCHIO

     Borgo di Castelvecchio’s history dates back to time immemorial. Situated at the centre of the Val d’Orcia, very near Radicofani, Pienza and Montepulciano, the castle of Perignano dominated and protected the Borgo,once owned by the Burbon del Monte family and later by the Morellis, now belongs to the De Angelis Gaetani d’Aragona family as shown in the ancient topographic map proudly displayed at the top of the stairs in the Villa.
     Borgo di Castelvecchio, made up of ancient, lovingly restored stone farmhouses, whose original architecture and materials are preserved, offers a total of 32 bedrooms, two meeting halls, two salons for refreshment services, a small church and two swimming pools. Each house is entirely independent and, above all, very comfortable.
     Privacy and tranquility are an extra bonus, in addition to the pleasure of meeting other people, sharing enjoyable moments or giving oneself up to pauses of meditation and spiritual peace.
