SAFARI PLANNING TIPS
• When to go: This largely depends on the best time to see wildlife from region to region. In Kenya or Zimbabwe, consider July - October. In Tanzania, migration is big February and March. In South Africa and Botswana, June - September is prime safari season. 
• What to pack: Bring both lightweight clothes and a jacket for nights, comfy shoes, plenty of sunscreen and a shaded hat, your camera, and insect repellent. 
• How to approach it: Safaris are available in other forms aside from 4x4 vehicles. You can go on foot, on a mountain bike, on an elephant on camel, or even in a balloon! Ask your agent about which options are available at your desired destination.
